ChainLinked
"The all-sector supply chain development, management and tendering procurement portal that delivers added value to the community! Recruit, manage, develop and communicate with your supply chain, all at the touch of a button"
Most traditional online procurement portals are developed from document management software. They have limited functionality by nature (advertise, manage responses, store documents) and don’t maximise the "additionality" Councils can get from the procurement process.
Now there is an alternative that has evolved, not from document management software, but from the web applications that underpin the local supply chain readiness networks (SCRNs) we manage for our local authority clients..
In addition to the standard EOI, Pricing Request, Tender and Small Works management functionality, ChainLinked delivers:
- Supply chain support/development to help local businesses achieve the standards you require and specify. Not only does this increase economic development outcomes in your area – it enhances competitiveness in your supply chain. The more local businesses that are "fit to supply" the greater the opportunity to retain a greater proportion of planned expenditure in the local economy and to reap the knock-on effects that has for the local community
- GIS technology that maps supplier locations/proximity. Click on a supplier to view their contact details, accreditations/memberships, PQQ, company documents such as insurances and quality policies etc and project histories where appropriate (including photographs). Instantly add to or remove from supplier lists
- Secure flexible partnering platform to allow your chosen partners to use the system - and at your discretion, allow the lead Council to generate income/spread cost. Ideal for engaging other public sector procurers in maximising the opportunities for the local business community
- Integrated (in-house/external as required) apprenticeship module: your supply chain represents a substantial employer base. Linking into the Apprentice support services, the SCRN web portal gives employers the opportunity to advertise apprenticeships and view applicants’ CVs, access funding etc
- Integrated (in-house/external as required) student work experience placement module
- Integrated (in-house/external as required) employment module
- Secure multi-file upload and exchange, automated internal and external alerts, messaging, response tables, reporting and records
- Events and newsletter modules and much more...
ChainLinked delivers the functionality of traditional procurement systems but works holistically to ensure that the resource created benefits the broader local community and supports the broader local authority remit
